Brooklyn Nets vs Indiana Pacers Picks and Predictions for Sunday, November 1, 2026
Brooklyn is still searching for a win. The Nets nearly stole one in Boston on Tuesday, then came home Friday and scored just 94 against Detroit. They're 0-5, last in the Atlantic Division. Indiana hasn't looked comfortable either. The Pacers are 2-4 and third in the Central after Miami beat them 145-125 Friday. Indiana beat Brooklyn 136-109 last weekend. The Nets are winless on the road, and the Pacers have lost both games at home. The rematch tips off Sunday at 5:00 pm ET at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on NBA League Pass. Brooklyn Nets Have Had Their Chances
Tuesday in Boston hurt. The Nets pushed the Celtics into overtime but lost 125-124. They had lost another close one to Cleveland, 125-121, a few days earlier. Friday offered no such drama. Detroit won 110-94, and Brooklyn never produced enough offense. Against Indiana, the Nets surrendered 136 points, but have played better against other teams with the exception of Detroit.
Michael Porter Jr. is making shots from outside, hitting 40.5% of his three-point attempts while averaging 22.8 points. Julius Randle has been just as important, scoring 22.5 and grabbing 7.5 rebounds. He also leads Brooklyn with 5.8 assists. Those two are doing plenty, but the supporting cast has been inconsistent. The Nets are shooting 42.9% overall, and their defense has allowed opponents far too many comfortable possessions. Another game against Indiana offers a chance to fix both problems, though the first meeting wasn't encouraging.
Injuries: Egor Demin and Tyler Bilodeau are out.

Indiana Pacers Have Their Own Problems
Miami wasn't kind to Indiana on Friday. The Pacers scored 125 points, which usually gives a team a fighting chance, but the Heat responded with 145. Indiana's previous two losses had looked different. Philadelphia won 114-109 in Indianapolis, while Milwaukee held the Pacers to 102, and the Bucks scored 110. The losing streak began after Indiana visited Brooklyn and ran away with a 136-109 victory. The Pacers would welcome another night like that, particularly because they have lost both home games so far.
Pascal Siakam is giving Indiana plenty around the basket, averaging 24 points and 8.4 rebounds. Tyrese Haliburton is scoring 21.8 while handing out 9.5 assists. Andrew Nembhard has chipped in 16.5 points and provides another capable passer. Indiana averages 29.4 assists, so moving the ball isn't the issue. Defense is. Opponents are scoring 119.8 points per game, and Friday exposed how quickly that can turn into an ugly result. The Pacers need more resistance on the perimeter instead of asking their scorers to rescue every possession.
Injuries: T.J. McConnell, Johnny Furphy, Ivica Zubac and Ben Sheppard are out. Obi Toppin is questionable.
Key To The Game
Indiana scored freely in Brooklyn last weekend, but that doesn't guarantee another easy evening. Porter can punish poor closeouts, and Randle's passing gives the Nets a way to attack inside. Haliburton has the same freedom to create for Indiana, especially with Siakam moving toward the basket. The bigger question is which defense can string together several stops. Brooklyn allows 121.2 points a game; Indiana isn't much better.
Brooklyn Nets vs Indiana Pacers Game Pick
- Indiana Pacers
Brooklyn has made Boston and Cleveland work hard, so dismissing the Nets would be a mistake. Still, Indiana's first meeting with them wasn't close. Haliburton and Siakam can attack in different ways, and Nembhard gives the Pacers another player who can handle the ball. Porter and Randle should find openings against this defense, but Brooklyn hasn't yet sustained its best play for an entire night. I expect a tighter rematch, with Indiana doing enough late to get its first home win. The Pacers are my pick.
Brooklyn Nets vs Indiana Pacers Over/Under Pick
- Over
The first meeting finished with 245 points, and Indiana's loss in Miami produced 270. Those totals say plenty about the opportunities both defenses have been conceding. Brooklyn had a quiet Friday against Detroit, but the Nets scored 124 in Boston and 121 in Cleveland. Indiana has the passing to find open shooters, while Porter and Randle can keep Brooklyn involved. There may be stretches when neither side makes a stop for several possessions. That should push the combined score upward. I'll take the over.
