The NBA heads to Mexico City on Saturday with Denver seeking momentum and Indiana chasing consecutive wins. The Nuggets (4-3, 4th Northwest Division) come off Wednesday's 128-109 victory over Toronto. Indiana (3-6, 3rd Central Division) beat Memphis 107-103 that night, ending four straight losses. Denver has won three of five; and the Pacers have managed just one win in that stretch. Tipoff is 5:00 pm ET, with NBA TV and DAZN IND carrying the game. Our free NBA picks examine every matchup.
Denver Nuggets Looking to Build Momentum
Denver hasn't settled into a consistent groove, but three wins in five games have kept the Nuggets above .500. Wednesday's 128-109 win against Toronto was the response they needed after losing to Portland. The Nuggets average 115.4 points and surrender 114.7 per game. They shoot 49.0% from the field, an edge against an Indiana defense that has struggled to get stops.
Jamal Murray leads the scoring at 25.4 points and hits 50.9% from three. Nikola Jokic is doing nearly everything else: 23.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and 9.3 assists per outing. Christian Braun contributes 14.6 points, while Aaron Gordon adds 12.3. Denver averages 27.6 assists and 41.6 rebounds, with 10.7 steals and 3.7 blocks. Its 11.9 made threes each night come at a 37.2% clip. DeMar DeRozan's play at both ends will be missed.
Injuries: DeMar DeRozan, Spencer Jones and Julian Strawther are out.

Indiana Pacers Trying to Turn Things Around
Indiana was mired in a four-game losing streak before visiting Memphis. The Pacers snapped out of that with a hard-fought 107-103 win, holding the Grizzlies to 20 points below their average of 123.0 per game. Indiana improved to just 3-6, going 1-4 over the last five. Much of the problem can be seen through the poor numbers the Pacers have. Indiana is scoring just 111.2 per game, allowing 114.2, while shooting only 46.5% overall. The Pacers will be happy with the win, but must find more offense.
The leading scorer and rebounder for Indiana is Pascal Siakam with averages of 21.3 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Andrew Nembhard is second in scoring at 19.0 points per game, due to an injury to Tyrese Haliburton (21.8 points and 9.5 assists per game). Indiana grabs 41.8 rebounds, hands out 26.7 assists, and records 7.8 steals and 4.8 blocks per game. The Pacers make 12.1 threes on 32.8% shooting.
Injuries: Kelly Oubre Jr., T.J. McConnell, Johnny Furphy, Ben Sheppard and Tyrese Haliburton are out.
Key To The Game
Denver shoots 49.0% behind Nikola Jokic's 9.3 assists, while Indiana allows 114.2 points per game. Rebounding is close, with the Pacers averaging 41.8 boards to Denver's 41.6. Without Haliburton, Nembhard must create scoring chances for Siakam and keep Indiana's offense moving.
Denver Nuggets vs Indiana Pacers Game Pick
- Denver Nuggets
Indiana deserves credit for beating Memphis after four losses, but Denver's scoring options are harder to contain. Murray averages 25.4 points, and Jokic posts a near triple-double with 23.4 points, 9.7 rebounds and 9.3 assists. The Nuggets shoot 49.0%, compared with Indiana's 46.5%. Siakam and Nembhard can keep the Pacers within range if Denver repeats its defensive lapses. However, without Haliburton, the Pacers are minus their second-leading scorer and leader in assists. I'm picking the Nuggets to win on Saturday.
Denver Nuggets vs Indiana Pacers Over/Under Pick
- Under
Indiana held Memphis to 103 Wednesday, but the bigger issue is its own scoring. The Pacers average 111.2 points, shoot 32.8% from three, and won't have Haliburton directing the offense. Denver scores 115.4 per game and allows 114.7, so this isn't a matchup between two shutdown defenses. Murray and Jokic can push the pace if Indiana lets them. Still, the Nuggets just held Toronto to 109, and the Pacers need to find offense without their leading playmaker. A slower, more controlled game suits Indiana's chances better. I'll take the under.
